How do I install a ceiling fan?
Your new BCZ fan can be installed using our easy to follow step-by-step instructions, which are located in your owner's manual.
We have also created a "How-To" video for you to review. You can click the "Installation Guide" button to select the appropriate installation video for your purchase. The components of your fan may differ slightly from those in the video, but the basic instructions should apply
How do I install my fan on a sloped ceiling?
In order to install a ceiling fan on a sloped ceiling, you will need to purchase our ceiling fan, which includes drop rods in different lengths. Depending on the angle of the ceiling and your fan type, you may also need a sloped ceiling mount adapter.
*First, make sure your ceiling fan can be installed on a sloped ceiling.
* Angled ceilings with an angle of 17.5 degrees require a sloped ceiling bracket; this will replace your current canopy. You can only use a sloped ceiling bracket if you have a ceiling fan from BCZ. You cannot install the remote in a sloped ceiling bracket due to the tight spacing of the ceiling bracket. If you are at all unsure about the correct accessories to purchase, please contact our CS team.
*The SCA-P (Sloped Ceiling Adapter, Paintable) gives you extra spacing between the fan and the sloped ceiling to mount the remote receiver. NOTE: Some of BCZ's ceiling fans come with the receiver pre-installed, while others cannot be mounted with the SCA-P, we recommend you check before purchasing, our online service will be happy to hear from you.
*When installing a ceiling fan on a sloped ceiling, you will need to extend the downrod. When choosing your downrod length, keep in mind that your ceiling fan will need to be 30 inches from walls and other objects, and the fan blades must be 7 feet or more from the floor.
*If your sloped ceiling is steeper than 56 degrees, contact a contractor to help customize your SCA-P. Don't forget to verify that your fan's electrical box is approved for ceiling fans.
How to Choose the Right Ceiling Fan?
1. Choose a location for your fan.
Location is important when choosing the size and design of a ceiling fan for your room.
Indoor
○ Indoor fans, sometimes called dry fans, are great for living rooms or bedrooms.
Outdoor
○ When choosing a ceiling fan for an outdoor space, choose a model that meets the requirements of the Electrical Testing Laboratory (ETL) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
Many of BCZ's fans can be used both indoors and outdoors, but be aware that some fans can only be used indoors.
2. Choose the right ceiling fan size
The diameter of your room affects the amount of air your ceiling fan circulates. Larger rooms require larger diameter fans, while smaller spaces require smaller fans.
Small
Ceiling fans for rooms no larger than 8 feet by 10 feet should be between 21 inches and 40 inches in size. Small rooms include dens and kitchen nooks.
Medium
If your room is up to 12 feet by 14 feet, stick with fans with a diameter of 42 inches - 54 inches. Medium rooms include bedrooms and dining rooms.
Large
Rooms up to 18’ x 20’ should feature a ceiling fan with a diameter of 52” – 60”. This includes family rooms and large bedrooms.
Great
Great rooms are larger than 18’ x 20’ and should include a fan with a diameter greater than 60”. Great rooms feature open floor plans and large foyer areas.
3. Choose a Ceiling Fan Style
When choosing a ceiling fan style, use your existing furnishings and finishes as inspiration. Here are some of the style options we offer:
Modern

4. Choose if you want a lighted fan
Unlighted fans
○ Unlighted ceiling fans are a smart choice if you want to place your fan in a space that has plenty of natural light or light from other sources.
Lighted fans
○ Lighted ceiling fans are a good choice if you plan to install your new fan in a room with limited natural light. Most of our lighted fans can be dimmed.
5. Choose the best mounting type for your space
The choice of mounting system should take into account the height and slope of the room's ceiling. Below are two common mounting types for our ceiling fans.
Flush mount/low profile
○ The ceiling fan attaches directly to the ceiling. If your ceiling is less than 8 feet high, we recommend a flush mount.
Downrod brackets
○ Downrod brackets have a long rod that connects the fan to the ceiling. If your ceiling is more than 8 feet high, we recommend a flush mount.
6. Decide how you want to control your fan
Below are two types of controls we can offer.
Remote Control
○ All of our fans can be remotely controlled, allowing you to control the direction and speed of the fan, as well as dim the lights, from anywhere in the room.
Smart/APP Control
○ These ceiling fans can be connected to your existing smart devices, seamlessly integrating with your smart home, you can enjoy multiple control options, including remote control, smartphone control, and voice control, activating convenient scheduling and timer functions to complement your daily routine.
7. Choose the airflow/efficiency you need
CFM stands for cubic feet per minute, which is a measurement of how much air a ceiling fan moves. Compared to standard fans, our energy-saving ceiling fans can provide more airflow with less energy consumption.

What kind of motor do our fans use? AC or DC motor?
All BCZ fans are manufactured with 6-speed DC motors, which are generally more efficient and quieter when working, and 75% more efficient than traditional AC motors.
Can our fans be used indoors and outdoors?
Most BCZ ceiling fans are moisture-proof and designed to withstand rain and moisture, suitable for almost any indoor or outdoor area.
Do our ceiling fans support smart systems?
Some of our products support smart systems. We have many smart ceiling fans, and you can choose the one you want.
BCZ smart fans integrate with Alexa, Google Home, and Siri to enhance your living space.
What are the fan's speeds?
Our fans have six air speeds.
What is a low profile ceiling fan/recessed mount fan?
If your ceiling height is less than 8 feet, you will need a low profile or recessed mount fan. This fan mounts directly to a ceiling bracket that is fixed to the ceiling, rather than using a downrod.
BCZ's recessed ceiling fans are designed to be mounted close to the ceiling with minimal distance between the fan blades and the ceiling surface, which helps save space, reduce noise, and provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
What length of downrod should I purchase for my fan?
Downrod brackets are retractable, long rods that connect the fan to the ceiling. If the height of the ceiling allows, a downrod is recommended to improve the functionality of the fan. 5"/10"/24" downrods are often seen in our ceiling fans.
Choosing the Right Size Downrod:
*You can calculate the length of downrod you need with a simple formula: Ceiling height in feet minus 9 feet (including fan height) = Downrod Length
Tip: To maximize the efficiency of the fan, it is generally recommended to place the ceiling fan between 8" and 9" off the ground.
*If your ceiling height is less than 9 feet, you will need a smaller 12" downrod to ensure the fan is at the proper height.
*If your ceiling is 10 feet high, you will need a smaller 12"-18" downrod to ensure the fan is at the proper height.
*If your ceiling is 11 feet high, you will need an 18"-24" downrod to ensure the fan is at the proper height.
My ceiling fan does not have a light fixture. Can I add one?
Our unlit ceiling fans do not currently support the addition of light fixtures. You can visit our lighted ceiling fan collection to find the product you are looking for.
Do ceiling fans save me money?
*Let's break down this wind chill effect from a monetary and sanity perspective. A room with a ceiling fan can feel 6 to 8 degrees cooler than it actually is (so a 40° room will feel like a 32° room). Therefore, your air conditioner now needs to work less. Good job!
*What about winter? Avoid the mistake of turning off your fan. Turn it clockwise to force warm air downward and gently recirculate it, rather than creating a cooling effect. Congratulations! Your heating and cooling bills will go down.
Is my payment information secure?

How long does shipping take?
It takes us 1 to 3 business days to process an order, and you will typically receive your product 3-5 days later. Shipping is delayed due to some objective or uncontrollable reasons. We will notify customers in advance of any delays.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, BCZ offers free shipping within the entire United States for a limited time. You can refer to our Shipping Policy for more details.
Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
No, we do not support shipping to P.O. Boxes. Please make sure to provide a complete and accurate shipping address to avoid delivery delays.
How do I track my order?
Once the product is shipped, you will receive a FedEx tracking number via email. If you have any other shipping or tracking questions, you can click "Track Your Order" or contact the courier directly.
Why hasn't my package status been updated for a few days?
If your order has just been shipped, please wait 2 to 4 business days to get the latest tracking information. If your order has been shipped for a few days without any updates (it may take 2-4 business days), your order will usually be updated until it arrives at the next shipping station. Please be patient.
If you still have questions about the shipment of your order, please email our customer support. We will help check the status of your package.
Do I need to pay additional taxes for my order during the delivery process?
After successfully placing an order, no more fees will be charged. In some cases, your destination country may impose VAT or other taxes, tariffs or fees. However, according to our experience, this is very rare.
* If you receive a tax notice from customs, please pay the tax first, then contact our customer service with the payment receipt, and we will refund the tax to you.
* If you still have some concerns about taxes, you can learn some information about local customs policies. If there is anything we can do, we are very willing to help.
How long does it take for delivery?
For normal products: Generally, the goods will be shipped from the US warehouse within 2 business days after the order is placed. You will receive the goods within 3-5 business days.
What should I do if I received a defective/wrong/stained item?
If you received a defective/wrong/stained item, please chat with us before returning it so that we can process the return for you and provide you with return information.
How to return/replace/repair items?
1. Contact ceilingfanshelp@gmail.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. BCZ does not accept returns without prior authorization and RMA.
2. Write the RMA number on the shipping label of the return package, otherwise *RMA number should be clearly displayed on the shipping label. Do not write the RMA number directly on the box. Our local warehouse may not accept packages without RMA number on the return shipping label.
3. BCZ will repair/replace (at BCZ's expense) any defective product during the warranty period. Replacements will restore the remaining warranty period on the original order.
4. We will make replacements within 14 business days of confirming receipt of the defective item at our warehouse. Final resolution is subject to the availability of the replacement item.
How long does a refund or exchange take?
Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for return processing. Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you and let you know if your refund has been approved. If approved, you will automatically receive a refund to your original payment method. Keep in mind that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well.
*If you paid with a credit or debit card, we will process the refund to the same card that was originally used to place and pay for the order after we receive your return. Please allow approximately 5-10 business days for the funds to be refunded to your original payment method.
*If you paid with Apple Pay, we will refund the money to the Apple Pay account that was originally used to place and pay for the order after we receive your return. Please allow approximately 1-3 business days for the funds to be refunded to your original payment method.
How do I get a 30-day hassle-free refund?
We offer a 30-day hassle-free money back guarantee. This only applies to products purchased directly from BCZ. For all other purchases, please contact the third party you purchased from directly and follow their return/refund policy.
Please note that the 30-day money back guarantee does not apply to unpackaged/used products. Please ensure that the packaging is in good condition and will not affect resale.
Also, orders that have been shipped are not refundable during shipping.
